As well as home owners, increasingly companies are looking to reduce their overheads and meet their own carbon emissions targets.

How do they work?

An air source heat pump extracts heat from the outside air in the same way that a fridge extracts heat from inside. Heat can be taken from the air at temperatures as low as -20°C.  This can then be used to heat homes via radiators or Underfloor Heating systems and satisfy hot water demands. To support your carbon neutral aspirations, pairing a heat pump with solar panels which creates electricity from the sun becomes a very attractive cost effective renewable solution.

Benefits

  • Boiler Upgrade Scheme grants available (terms apply).
  • Lower carbon emissions
  • No fuel deliveries needed
  • Can heat your water as well as your home
  • Works with underfloor heating as well as traditional radiators
  • Minimal maintenance required
