SOLAR WATER HEATINGHarness the free energy from the sun to heat the water in your home, with a generous RHI rebate to offset the cost.
Solar Water Heating
Every day the sun pours more free energy onto the earth than we could ever use. And in the UK, even cloudy days allow sufficient energy for us to collect and utilise to help heat the water in our homes.
Solar water heating systems, or solar thermal systems, use free heat from the sun to warm domestic hot water. A conventional boiler or immersion heater can be used to make the water hotter, or to provide hot water when solar energy is unavailable.
Green Warmth is certified under the MCS scheme as installers for solar water heating and both product and installation are undertaken in accordance with this scheme. Installations of accredited products installed by accredited installers will be able to receive the RHI (Renewable Heat Incentive) rebate.
Solar Thermal Panels
Solar thermal panels harness the sun’s energy and use it to heat water. In the UK a well-designed water heating system can provide almost all the hot water for a home during the summer months and around 50-60% year-round.
Harnessing the sun’s free energy makes solar water heating systems one of the most cost effective and environmentally friendly renewable energy solutions available – reducing bills and carbon dioxide emissions.
- Hot water throughout the year.
- Reduced energy bills.
- Lower carbon footprint.
